Workshop Entry Requirements

Eligibility to Attend

The workshop is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:

A minimum level 2 fitness qualification or equivalent is required to attend.

Targeted at those looking to enhance their expertise in sports-specific training.

 

Certification Requirements

 

Hold a Level 3 Personal Trainer (PT) qualification or an equivalent recognised certification.

 

To obtain certification upon finishing the workshop, participants must satisfy the following criteria:

 

Prepare and submit a comprehensive training programme tailored to an athlete (beginner or professional) focusing on a chosen sport.

Provide a 15-minute recorded session demonstrating the training programme's application with the athlete.

​

Include a written justification of the programme (maximum of one A4 page; approximately 300–400 words) explaining how it aligns with the athlete’s objectives and sport-specific requirements. 

​

Submit a recorded demonstration of the Power Clean and Power Snatch techniques to assess competence in these fundamental movements. 

​

Participants who meet these requirements will receive a certification of completion, officially recognising their ability to design, justify, and implement sports-specific training programmes effectively.
